Overview The Chief Minister of Punjab has introduced a groundbreaking initiative aimed at supporting bright students in Punjab, the HEC Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program 2025. This Honahar program ensures that deserving students, unable to afford higher education, receive full financial support for their undergraduate studies. The initiative covers 70 selected disciplines across 50 public sector universities, 13 medical and dental colleges, and 359 graduate colleges in Punjab. The program aims to award 50,000 scholarships. Scholarship Coverage 100% Tuition Fees Eligibility Criteria Applicant Must: Have domicile of respective province No Gender specific Family monthly income should be less than Rs 300,000 (Affidavit on E-Stamp Required) (Download Sample Affidavit) The Applicant must be enrolled in Selected Disciplines in any Public Universities / Colleges from 1st & 2nd Semester (Academic Session 2024-25), and for Public Medical & Dental College / University (Enrolled in 2024) Scholarships will be awarded on merit basis. Minimum FSc./Intermediate marks: Public Sector Universities / Colleges (≥ 70% for Sciences and ≥ 65% for Arts and Social Sciences Public Sector Medical and Dental Colleges (≥ 80%) Selection of merit criteria will be Matric weightage 30% + Intermediate weightage 70%
